Guitar Shops in Norwich

We know how hard it is to find everything you want in a guitar shop. Here at Guitar Lessons Norwich, we pride ourselves on our friendly staff, knowledgeable professionals and tailor-made services, so we’ve put together a list of like-minded guitar shops in case you need to buy a new acoustic or electric guitar.

Cookes is located at 32-34 St Benedicts Street,
NR2 4AQ.  This shop may not be for everyone - it’s stock if fairly pricey due to the mind-blowingly awesome guitars that they have in stock. Fender, arguably the world’s most famous guitar manufacturing company, has endorsed this shop as one of its specialist dealers, so they can be considered an expert on anything Fender related. If you’re looking to kit your band out with a new kick-ass hum-bucking Fender Jaguar or a jingly-jangly Telecaster, look no further than this shop.

Professional Music Technology Norwich describes itself as East Anglia’s premier music store, a title which we believe it truly deserves. This shop stocks everything a band could need from electric guitars, to drum kits to amplifiers. For a music shop, all of the above is fairly standard; however, it is the care and maintenance service the shop offers which takes it into a league of its own. The ‘guitar doctor’, Dr Phil-Good, is available to diagnose and repair faults and issues - he'll have your treasured instrument sounding tip-top again in no time. If you’re interested in taking a look for yourself, head down to 2-4 Annes Walk,
Anglia Square,
NR3 1EB today.

Jack White guitar shop somehow manages to combine two of my favourite things into one: the legendary garage-rock frontman of the White Stripes and a room choc-a-block full of hair-raising sick guitars. Unfortunately, Jack White has no personal involvement with the shop, but don’t let this put you off. This shop stocks a wide range of guitars from Yamahas to Fenders, ensuring that this shop will have something for everyone’s budget. If you’re a beginner this might be the shop for you, so head down to 48-50 St Benedicts Street, Norwich, NR2 4AR to have a gander.

Supatone is the most ridiculously cool guitar shop we’ve ever seen. From all our students that have taken guitar lessons in Norwich, none have seen a wider variety of guitars that is stocked at Supatone. Name a guitar make and they’ll have. The more ambiguous guitar makes such as Rickenbacker (as of Johnny Marr fame and The Beatles fame), ESP (Phil X) and Warwick put their faith in Supatone to sell their guitars, so you should too. They also have a number of signature guitar models; their Facebook page shows that they have the Kurt Cobain Fender Jaguar just in. The shops also host bands and solo artists, the most recent being Albert Lee. To have a look at the coolest guitar shop in town, 2a Queens Road, Norwich, NR1 3PR is the place to go.
